I captured Jonathon and Negin’s wedding day at Madingley Hall in Cambridge. I was so excited to be chosen by Negin and Jonathon to be their wedding photographer at Madingley Hall. I’m based in Ely, so Madingley Hall is situated in an ideal location for me to be a regular Madingley Hall Wedding Photographer. This stunning venue is set in magnificent gardens and provided a wonderful setting for Jonathon and Negin’s wedding!
I love capturing wedding stories at lovely houses and halls because I find the architecture very inspiring and Madingley Hall was no exception. I especially loved the decadence of the room where the ceremony took place, rich tapestries paintings and grand piano. The wedding ceremony was beautiful as Negin and Jonathon had decided to write their own vowels. Also, it was awesome to listen to a piano recital during the ceremony which was performed by one of Negin’s bridesmaids.
This wedding day was such a happy day and it was fun to capture the story from preparations right up until the dancing late at night. Negin and Jonathon danced a beautiful waltz which was then followed by ceilidh! I often stay to capture the dancing after the first dance and it was great to capture all the fun people were having on the dance floor. It was amazing that there was some beautiful sunset light at the end of the day, which meant we could capture some extra beautiful portraits outside, it was truly magical light!.
I quite often capture a last photo of the evening, which make great pictures of albums. This time I chose to capture a picture of Jonathon and Negin in front of the door of the house. A perfect ending to the day.
