Last September I was invited to shoot Emma and Chris’s lovely wedding at Jesus College, Cambridge. Quite often brides and grooms have choose a certain college as it is where they met as undergraduates. It meant so much for Emma and Chris to be able to get married at Jesus College, as there so many happy memories from when they were students.
The ceremony was held at Jesus College Chapel and after wards guests mingled on the green or in the college cloisters because of the rain. I find the Cambridge University colleges very inspiring, the architecture and gardens are so beautiful plus the interiors of the colleges are stunning. It was lovely to photograph the guests have a lovely time in such beautiful surroundings. The wedding breakfast was held in the main dining hall. I really enjoyed capturing the wedding speeches with such a glorious golden back drop. After the wedding breakfast, everyone headed off the to West Court where the celebrations continued. I captured their first dance which was particularly lovely as the bride’s brother was the wedding singer. So much happiness and joy in the room! Many thanks to Emma and Chris for allowing me to capture their special day.
