Norfolk Wedding Photographer | Fishley Hall Farm
It was amazing to be able to capture Emma and Jamie’s wedding day in Norfolk, on 19th September 2015. This was a very relaxed and fun day to photograph. The ceremony was held at St Mary’s Church, in Fishley. This is a Saxon church which is set amidst vast Norfolk farmland and it was so pretty!
The celebrations were held at Fishley Hall Farm, a bohemian venue which is very much a blank canvas for decorations which ensures a unique and personalised affair! I loved how Emma and Jamie incorporated their own personalities and interests into the decorations. Emma is a scientist and Jamie enjoys sailing. Therefore, along with vintage jars of flowers, some of the floral displays were presented in conical flasks – quirky hey!. Additionally there were lots of sailing details, with many sails and flags displayed around the barn. There was even a special code hidden within the flags which were hanging from the barn ceiling and the wedding guests were asked if they could guess the meaning. The flags wrote “I love you”, which was very romantic idea indeed. Emma and Jamie found some amazing vintage chairs, antique lanterns and lamps with which to decorate the barn and this gave the barn a homely and inviting feel to it. As this was a relaxed bohemian wedding, the speeches were conducted outside in the sunshine, where afterwards, guests could play lawn games and mingle. Emma wore a beautiful dress from Camilla Brides. The Music during the day was provided from a band called The Acafellas.
Wow, what a day! It was brilliant. Thank you Emma and Jamie for the privilege to capture your special day!
