Back in September 2017 I had wonderful time photographing Louise and Shane’s Autumnal wedding at St Andrew’s Church in Cambridge and reception at Barrington Hall. I was invited to capture the story of the day right through from bridal preparations in Cambridge to the evening reception at the beautiful Barrington Hall.
I work with a documentary style capturing the day as it unfolds and it was so amazing to capture lots of lovely moments during the day. I especially loved the emotional reaction from the bridal party when Louise was ready to go to the church. I spent a couple of hours photographing bridal preparations before heading off to the church to capture Shane greeting guests while looking a little nervous! Louise arrived with her father via horse and carriage. After the ceremony we all headed off to Barrington hall to await the arrival of Louise and Shane by horse and carriage. The reception was held in the gardens and the wedding breakfast was served in the marquee. I had lots of fun capturing the speeches and the first dance followed by the throwing of the bouquet. So many emotional moments to capture.
Louise and Shane had chosen a Beauty and the Beast theme for the day and so I decided to create a last shot of the day, using the Chandeliers inside Barrington hall, which reminded me of the famous ball room scene from the animated film.
